"Classic Chicken Alfredo Pasta"
Here's a simple recipe for chicken Alfredo pasta:
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Reduce the heat to medium-low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir continuously until the cream starts to simmer.
5. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese to the cream sauce, stirring constantly until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat it with the Alfredo sauce.
7. Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet and toss until it is well coated with the sauce.
8. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is heated through.
9. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
10. Serve the chicken Alfredo pasta hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
Enjoy your creamy and flavorful chicken Alfredo pasta!
